1. Introduction

ALLENARE ("we," "our," or "us") is a personal fitness and nutrition coaching app. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information.

2. Data We Collect

Account Information

• Email address and password (used to create and secure your account).

Profile & Body Data

• Name, date of birth, sex, height, weight, and fitness goals you provide during setup and ongoing use.

Workout Data

• Exercise logs, sets, reps, weights, workout duration, and notes you enter in the app.

Nutrition Data

• Food logs, calorie counts, and macro information you record.

Health Metrics

• Weight, steps, sleep hours, resting heart rate, and body fat percentage — entered manually or synced from Apple Health or Google Health Connect with your explicit permission.

Progress Photos

• Photos you choose to upload for progress tracking.

Voice Input

• Audio captured when you use the voice input feature, processed in real time for speech-to-text transcription. Audio is not stored.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to provide and improve the ALLENARE coaching experience:

• To generate personalized workout plans, nutrition targets, and AI coaching feedback.
• To track your progress over time.
• To estimate your metabolic rate and adjust calorie recommendations based on real results.
• To sync with connected health devices and services you authorize.

4. AI Processing

ALLENARE uses Claude, an AI service provided by Anthropic, to generate coaching insights, workout plans, and nutrition analysis. Your fitness and health data is sent to Anthropic's API to produce these responses. Anthropic's privacy policy is available at anthropic.com/privacy. We do not use your data to train AI models.

5. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database platform. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Third-Party Services

ALLENARE uses the following third-party services:

• Anthropic — AI coaching responses.
• Supabase — secure data storage and authentication.
• Open Food Facts — public food database for nutrition lookups (no personal data sent).
• USDA FoodData Central — public food database for nutrition lookups (no personal data sent).

7. Health Data

If you connect Apple Health or Google Health Connect, we access only the health data types you explicitly authorize (steps, sleep, weight, heart rate, body fat). We do not share this data with third parties. You can revoke this access at any time through your device's Health settings.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

ALLENARE is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Export your data.
