1. Introduction

ALLENARE ("we," "our," or "us") is a personal fitness and nutrition coaching app operated by Allenare AI Inc., a Canadian corporation. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your information. It also covers enquiries businesses send us through our services page; see "Business Enquiries" below.

2. Data We Collect

Account Information

• Email address and password (used to create and secure your account).

Profile & Body Data

• Name, date of birth, sex, height, weight, and fitness goals you provide during setup and ongoing use.

Workout Data

• Exercise logs, sets, reps, weights, workout duration, and notes you enter in the app.

Nutrition Data

• Food logs, calorie counts, and macro information you record.

Health Metrics

• Weight, steps, sleep hours, resting heart rate, and body fat percentage — entered manually, or synced with your explicit permission from Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android). Body fat percentage syncs from Apple Health only; on Android it can be entered manually.

Progress Photos

• Photos you choose to upload for progress tracking.

Voice Input

• Audio captured when you use the voice input feature, processed in real time for speech-to-text transcription. Audio is not stored.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to provide and improve the ALLENARE coaching experience:

• To generate personalized workout plans, nutrition targets, and AI coaching feedback.
• To track your progress over time.
• To estimate your metabolic rate and adjust calorie recommendations based on real results.
• To sync with connected health devices and services you authorize.

4. AI Processing

ALLENARE uses Claude, an AI service provided by Anthropic, to generate coaching insights, workout plans, and nutrition analysis. Your fitness and health data is sent to Anthropic's API to produce these responses. Anthropic's privacy policy is available at anthropic.com/privacy. We do not use your data to train AI models.

5. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database platform. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Third-Party Services

ALLENARE uses the following third-party services:

• Anthropic — AI coaching responses.
• Supabase — secure data storage and authentication.
• Open Food Facts — public food database for nutrition lookups (no personal data sent).
• USDA FoodData Central — public food database for nutrition lookups (no personal data sent).
• Netlify — hosting for this website and processing of the business enquiry form (website only; no app data).

7. Health Data

If you connect Apple Health or Health Connect, we access only the health data types you explicitly authorize. On Android (Health Connect) these are: steps, sleep, weight, heart rate, resting heart rate, exercise sessions, total calories burned and distance. On iOS (Apple Health) body fat percentage is also included. ALLENARE writes back only the workouts you complete in the app.

We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models. It is sent to Anthropic solely to generate your coaching responses, as described in "AI Processing" above, and is otherwise not shared with third parties. You can revoke access at any time through your device's Health settings, and revoking it does not prevent you from using ALLENARE.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

ALLENARE is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

10. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Export your data.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of ALLENARE after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

12. Business Enquiries

Allenare AI Inc. also offers AI integration, website and app development services to businesses. This section covers enquiries sent through the contact form at allenare.fit/services or by email to sales@allenare.fit. It does not apply to data in the ALLENARE app.

What we collect

• Your name and email address.
• Your business name, if you provide it.
• The service you are interested in, an optional budget range, and the message you write.

Please don't include sensitive personal information, passwords or customer data in an enquiry. If a project needs access to your systems, we arrange it securely once work is agreed.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry, arrange a call, and prepare a proposal.
• To keep a record of what was discussed and agreed if you become a client.

We will not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing messages unless you ask us to. We do not sell or share enquiry details, and we do not use them to train AI models.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, our website host, and delivered to our business email. These providers may store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws. We use them only to receive and respond to your enquiry.

How long we keep it

If an enquiry does not lead to a project, we delete it within 12 months of our last contact. If you become a client, we keep project and billing records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet our legal and tax obligations (in Canada, generally six years).

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about your enquiry at any time by writing to privacy@allenare.fit. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
